This app is a free, browser-based cognitive assessment designed to give you a quick, engaging estimate of your reasoning ability across several categories: logical pattern recognition, matrix and series reasoning, spatial and shape recognition, numerical sequences, coding-decoding, balance and ratio logic, and time-based reasoning. Questions are generated dynamically, so no two attempts are exactly the same.
How to use it: From the home screen, choose a mode - Real Test for a timed, official-style run; Adaptive if you want the difficulty to adjust to your performance as you go; Practice for untimed questions with hints; or Daily Challenge for a short daily set. If you picked Real, Adaptive, or Practice mode, also select a difficulty level (Low, Standard, High, or Ultra High), then tap Start Test. Answer each question by tapping an option (or using keys 1-4 on desktop), then tap Next to continue, Skip to move on without answering, or Hint in Practice mode for a clue. When you finish, you'll land on a results screen with your estimated IQ score, accuracy, percentile, and a category breakdown.
Features: multiple test modes and difficulty levels, an adaptive engine that adjusts question difficulty in real time, a daily challenge with streak tracking, detailed statistics and per-category performance charts, an achievements system, light and dark themes, keyboard shortcuts, and the ability to export or share your result as an image or print it as a PDF.
How your score is calculated: your estimated IQ is based on your accuracy (correct answers ÷ total questions), not just how many you got right. Since each question has 4 options, blind guessing already scores around 25% by chance - so scoring under half doesn't mean "average," it means below it. Answering about 65% of questions correctly is treated as the average result (IQ 100). Accuracy above 65% scales your score up toward 150; accuracy below 65% scales it down toward 55. Skipped questions earn no credit but aren't penalized beyond that. The resulting IQ score maps to a category as follows:
- 145+ - Genius / Near Genius (top 0.1%)
- 130-144 - Gifted (top 2%)
- 120-129 - Superior (top 10%)
- 110-119 - Above Average
- 90-109 - Average (most people score here)
- 80-89 - Below Average
- 55-79 - Low Range
Please read before you start: this is a self-assessment tool intended for entertainment, casual self-reflection, and light practice - it is not a scientifically validated or clinically standardized IQ test. Real, professionally administered IQ assessments (such as the WAIS or Stanford-Binet) are given and interpreted by licensed psychologists under controlled conditions, and they are the only results that should be treated as clinically meaningful. Your score here can vary from one attempt to the next depending on focus, tiredness, practice, and the random set of questions you receive, so please don't use it to make important decisions about education, employment, or your own or anyone else's abilities. Take the result in the lighthearted spirit it's intended.
